Okay
So Blogging isn't all it's cracked up to be, at least to me. Forgetting where your blog is, isn't a good start now is it. But I'm back, and I'm going to try for some more :-)
Had an awesome start to the day - got up at 5:40 and went to a prayer meeting - man it was amazing, but the flesh is inherently weak and I did not want to get up when I went to bed. The most amazing thing though, by 5:30 I was awake and by awake I mean Not Sleepy. God is good.
Anyhow - back to work. Creating a dynamic SQL builder using a database for a dynamic search filter - fun but keeping me challenged.
Here I go...

New Job
Okay.
So I started a new job yesterday. The old one wasn't too bad, I just had differing views on certain ethical standpoints, but that was not my main reason for going. My main reason was this:
Growth potential.
The "job world" we currently live in, even though we just went through a financial crisis, shifts at an amazing speed. I myself am an engineer in an IT industry with varying challenges:
1. New technologies
2. New clients
3. New methodologies
4. Etc
And some days the only way to get new exposure is to move jobs. I'm not saying it is the only way, but when your primary client has taken a liking to a certain technology, well, then you are pretty much stuck.
For that reason, I'm moving back into Object Orientation, in this case ASP, ASP.Net and C#. I am seriously excited :-)
It will be a challenge - all changes requires a challenge, but I'm going all in, full on and I'm going to make the best of this.
The key for me? God. The favour and the blessing and the protection of God.
Stay tuned for more.

First Attempt
So...
Supposedly this is one of those things that people do that performs one of multiple functions:
1. Enriches their lives.
2. Enriches other peoples lives.
3. Etc.
I, will be using this as an experiment to see whether it is worth my while, but also whether it is truly a useful creative outlet?
More to come...
